“Ada is the best! I had a good feeling about her during our tour and could tell she prioritized the kids' well being above all else. I liked that she spoke both Cantonese and Mandarin, so my kids would get exposure to both. She basically helped raise my two kids starting from when they were 4 months old, with the second moving onto preschool soon. My older one still likes visiting, and Ada gives him snacks whenever he does . We experienced bottle refusal in the beginning with both kids, and Ada helped us navigate through it with tips and patience (don't worry, she won't let your baby starve, and she'll even spoon feed them if she has to). She also gives daily progress reports and sends pics frequently to let you know they're doing great.
My daughter is 2.5 now, and she happily struts through Ada's door in the morning and doesn't bother to look back at me to say goodbye. She can't wait to go and play with her friends and just do her own thing. She doesn't let me do her hair, yet she comes home from daycare with the cutest pigtails! According to Ada, she eats well and sleeps well at daycare, which I totally believe. Another nice thing is that the older kids get fed supper before pickup, so I don't stress about how much she eats during our family dinner.
I drop her off every weekday and go to work knowing she is in great hands. I can't say the same about other daycares I visited, which showed some definite red flags. Even though other daycares may be more flexible with better hours and less holidays, I could tell they prioritized money over the kids. One of them even let us visit the room where several babies were taking their nap, and this was during Covid! In contrast, Ada only does tours after the school day, when all the kids have left and before they do their cleaning/ sanitizing (not disrupting the kids and cleanliness is kind of her thing).
If you're looking for a daycare, definitely add Little Sunshine Childcare to your list to visit. Ada isn't your normal Chinese grandma-type who just watches your kids. She has loads of energy and keeps the kids engaged throughout the day with activities (music, drawing), outside time, etc. She's been doing this a long time, so she's seen it all and knows how to raise kids. Both her and Uncle just have great hearts and genuinely care about the kids."

“We love Little Sunshine, and would enthusiastically recommend it to all parents! We sent our son there for two years, starting from when he was about seven months old. More than anything, we wanted him to be safe, and to be loved. Little Sunshine gets high praise in both of these areas!
Ada and her team cared for our son as if he was their own. They made him feel loved, and because of that, he loved coming in there every day. She makes you feel like your child is truly special to her.
We also had total trust in the safety of Little Sunshine. It is well-run in every way. They deal with child illnesses well, finding a nice balance between flexibility and community safety. They do a great job of communicating with parents. They cook healthy food for your child every day. They send lots of cute photos of your kids. They are very detail-oriented.
Ada runs Little Sunshine with a lot of joy and energy. She seems to love her work, and it shows in her relationships with the children and her parents. We feel so lucky to have found this place, and would send our son back there in a heartbeat. If you get the chance to send your child here, don't hesitate.”
